Pratt & Whitney has an immediate opportunity within our GTF Engines Finance team for a Principal Specialist.
This is an onsite position based out of our facilities in East Hartford Connecticut.
What You Will Do:
GTF Financial Planning & Analysis is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic principal specialist to support the aftermarket P&L.
This role will focus on FMP and MCG contract financials.
You will report directly to the GTF Engines FP&A aftermarket Sr. Manager and will provide critical support to the Commercial Engines Finance organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze monthly actuals and perform variance analysis compared to the previous forecast.
- Consolidate and validate monthly shop visit count totals.
- Manage the FMP and MCG MML.
- Oversee the FMP and MCG portions of the GTF AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and LRP (Long Range Plan).
- Prepare quarterly and annual closing deliverables to support the CE Earning Release Package.
- Collaborate effectively with the Engine Services Finance GTF Aftermarket Accounting and GTF Network Operations teams.
- Drive process improvements and enhance forecast accuracy.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance and 5 years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an advanced degree in accounting or finance and 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in OneStream software.
- Experience with FP&A.
- Strong Data Analytics experience.
- Independent motivated and able to manage multiple priorities and influence in a matrix organization.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail quality and accuracy.

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
