Job Summary
Charles Taylor is seeking a Safety Manager in Alexandria VA.
1099 Contract position without per-diem.
1099 Contract position without per-diem.
Project details:
- 40 hours/week. M-F
- 6-8 months
- Working on-site with our client overseeing overseeing electrical work for a large commercial construction project.
- BCSP certifications are strongly preferred. OSHA-510 and NFPA 70E are strongly preferred
- OSHA-30 in construction and certified in CPR/first Aid is required for this project.
- At least 5-7 of recent on-site Safety Management experience overseeing large commercial construction projects. Recent experience overseeing electrical work is preferred.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conducting project safety inspections and orientations.
- Safety training as requested/required.
- Observation and monitoring of worksite employees and safety practices.
- Complete document reviews contractor correspondence and document management.
- Other tasks and activities within the realm of the EHS profession within the managers skills abilities certifications and authorizations
- Communicating safety standards between trades GC and sub-contractors
