Join our Global Trade & Customs Excellence team at Amgen Breda (ABR) and contribute to impactful initiatives that ensure the smooth and compliant flow of goods across borders. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on global trade operations stakeholder engagement and digital transformation projects that support Amgens mission.
Youll support the development of a Global Trade Playbook or a Clinical Trials Playbook both designed to enhance collaboration and compliance across Amgens global network.
Key Projects & Responsibilities
Depending on your assignment you may:
- Contribute to the creation of a comprehensive Global Trade or Clinical Trials Playbook.
- Map and document global import/export flows and stakeholder responsibilities.
- Analyze trade and customs data to support decision-making.
- Identify automation opportunities and integrate tools like CoPilot ChatGPT Tableau Smartsheet and Miro.
- Collaborate with international teams to align processes and improve communication.
- Assist in project planning and implementation ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.

Profile:
- Final or pre-final year student (Bachelor/Master) preferably in:
- Customs & Supply Chain Compliance
- International Business & Trade
- Supply Chain Innovation
- Indirect Tax or similar
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional international environment.
