Background
Radar is a core perception technology in advanced driver assisted systems (ADAS) for enhancing safety and convenience. Future radar systems in vehicles will likely move to the higher millimeter-wave bands and incorporate more digital processing. Radar sensing is an upcoming feature in future wireless communications infrastructure as well. These developments open up new opportunities for signal processing and machine learning (ML) for digital radar systems. The candidate will focus on new waveforms beamforming techniques and development of novel ML algorithms for radar sensing.
As a candidate for this position it is expected that you have:
- Masters student in electrical/electronic engineering or a relevant field of study.
- Strong background in signal processing array processing communications and algorithms.
- Experience in automotive radar and ML methods and an interest in growing your expertise in these areas.
- Experience in Matlab/Python programming.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong motivation in working in an R&D environment.
