Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) students who are required to complete their practical training or logbook in order to obtain their qualification. This internship provides valuable exposure to real-world operational processes within a dynamic production and project-based environment.
About the Opportunity
The successful interns will form part of an operations team and will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of operational management. This includes exposure to production planning logistics coordination workflow optimisation and continuous improvement activities. The programme offers practical learning under the guidance of experienced professionals preparing learners for a career in operations management and related fields.
Key Responsibilities- Support the operations team in coordinating day-to-day activities.
- Assist with process documentation workflow tracking and administrative functions.
- Collect and analyse data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Participate in planning scheduling and logistics support activities.
- Ensure that health safety and quality standards are adhered to.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements- Must be currently enrolled in or completing a qualification in Operations Management or a related field such as Logistics Supply Chain Production Management or Industrial Engineering.
- Must require workplace experience to complete a qualification or institutional logbook.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
