Job Summary

Our client in the insurance space is in hyper-growth scaling from $9M revenue in 2019 to $6570M expected this year through frequent acquisitions and joint ventures. The FP and amp;A function is and lt;6 months old and now needs a hands-on leader to own budgeting forecasting consolidation and executive/board presentations - while finishing the rollout of a new consolidation/FP and amp;A tool (in testing).

What Youll Lead

  • Own the plan: Run the end-to-end budget and rolling forecast processes; drive monthly results analysis and storytelling for the executive team and board.
  • Consolidate at scale: Lead monthly consolidation across 57 P and amp;Ls and ensure smooth roll-ins for new acquisitions on a 6-8 week cadence.
  • Stand up the stack: Implement and operate the consolidation/FP and amp;A tool (e.g. Datarails or similar in testing) and eliminate manual mapping.
  • Lead the team: Manage and develop a team of 3 FP and amp;A analysts (business partnering month-end analysis) raising bar on quality speed and presentation.
  • Be the face of FP and amp;A: Prepare and present clear decision-useful decks; partner closely with CFO VP Finance Strategy Corp Dev/M and amp;A and business leaders.
  • Stay hands-on: Model dive into the weeds review outputs and jump in where needed in a fast entrepreneurial environment.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading FP and amp;A (Senior Manager/Director/Head/ scope) in a high-growth environment.
  • Track record running budgets forecasts monthly results and building executive/board decks.
  • Strength in multi-entity consolidation and integrating acquired entities into reporting.
  • Advanced Excel/modelling skills and familiarity with FP and amp;A/consolidation tools (tool is currently in testing).
  • Leadership that mixes people development with high standards and speed.
  • Bias to action: comfortable making progress amid ambiguity and rolling up sleeves.
  • Insurance experience is a nice-to-have not a requirement.

  • Fast decisions minimal red tape; CFO and VP Finance are primary decision-makers.
  • Hybrid by design: collaboration in the Richmond Hill space is encouraged when the team is in; flexibility to balance virtual and in-person.

Compensation and amp; Benefits

  • Base salary: $115130k.
  • Bonus: Discretionary benchmark 1520% bonus based on company and individual performance (not guaranteed).
  • Benefits: Full benefits coverage.
  • RRSP match: Provided (23%)
