Key Responsibilities: As the Finance Manager youll play a key role in overseeing the finance function and guiding a small team of Accountants.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing monthly accounting processes and reconciliations
Compiling and analysing management reports
Managing cash flow and investments and approving payments and collections
Assisting with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
Ensuring that all control accounts balance sheets and income statements are reconciled monthly
Preparing and submitting VAT income tax and statutory returns (FSCA Prudential Authority SARB SARS and NAMFISA)
Compiling annual financial statements in line with IFRS
Liaising with Auditors and resolving outstanding reconciliation items
Identifying and implementing process and internal control improvements
Supporting regional managers with accurate and timely financial information
Minimum Requirements:
Qualified CA(SA)
2 years post-articles experience ideally withinFinancial Services or Short-Term Insurance
StrongMS Excelskills
Experience with accounting systems such asGreat Plains SAP or Accpac(advantageous)
Excellent communication analytical and time management abilities
