Role description: To provide accurate talent forecasts and support the deployment of the right person at the right time to meet the needs of the business the client and our people. Engage collaboratively with BAs and GBA leadership with a solution focused approach that exceeds expectations and makes the GEC an easy option to engage with. This position interfaces with multi-disciplined teams working with and delivering fromdifferent countries so an approach that works across cultural differences is required.

Role accountabilities:

Stakeholder Management:

  • Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the business to build an understanding of business need in the short and longer term. Including but not limited to:
    • BA Workforce Planners
    • GEC Directors
    • Project Managers Account Leads and Arcadis Way Project Managers
    • Business Leaders in country BA
    • Pursuit Teams / GEC Relationship Managers
    • People Services Finance and Talent Acquisition

Workforce Optimization

  • Collaborating with stakeholders in each country to collect & extract relevant workforce planning data
  • Identify options to optimize deployment including across GEC locations and/or across GBAs if required
  • Keep talent assignments up to date via Project Managers.
  • Provide feedback on gaps in availability and longer term needs to enable the business to plan and prepare

Reporting & Data Insight

  • Preparing reviewing & collating data & reporting across GBA to support forecasting & scenario planning
  • Collaborate with counterparts in other GBAs to aggregate reporting
  • Assisting with generating adhoc reports & data insights if/as required

One Team

  • Work cooperatively within the wider Workforce Planning team to exchange information and assist other team members to achieve objectives and work outcomes
  • Providing support to stakeholders involved in resource management reviews & forecasting

Continuous Improvement

  • Be critical and constantly look for areas of improvement
  • Assisting with standardisation & automation initiatives if/as required
  • Be curious and ask questions of others to constantly learn

Key shared accountabilities

  • Billability targets with GBA GEC Directors

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Business Science Engineering Mathematics or IT with at least 5 years relevant work experience (qualification in Data/Analytics/Statistics or an understanding of project management principles an advantage)
  • Strong numerical ability & comfortable in manipulating/analysing data
  • Keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy
  • High level of Integrity
  • Flexible & a strong team player
  • An understanding of planning & resource management principles
  • Proficient skills in computers: MS Word Excel email and preferably Power BI
  • Ability to tailor information and data for presentation to various stakeholders and levels of management.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in work style to work independently to organise and prioritise demands handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands and be able to handle sudden changes in priorities
  • Continuous improvement & initiative to enhance productivity through improved processes procedures & systems
