Position Overview
The Regional Business Development Manager plays a key role in expanding GOLFZON Americas footprint by driving new business and partnerships across two primary verticals:
Green Grass Facilities golf courses academies and teaching environments.
Dealer & Channel Partnerships audio-visual integrators and resellers who represent GOLFZON America technology.
This is a proactive hunter-style sales role focused on generating pipeline cultivating relationships and building GOLFZON Americas presence across the region. The BDM will represent GOLFZON America at key industry events build relationships with PGA professionals and dealers and collaborate internally to deliver an exceptional partner experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and engage new business opportunities within green grass and dealer/channel markets.
Expand and strengthen the indirect dealer network through recruitment training and joint sales activities.
Develop and execute regional outreach plans and attend golf sports and hospitality events to grow brand awareness.
Conduct consultative discovery with prospects to identify needs and align GOLFZON America solutions.
Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams on activations promotions and partner enablement.
Maintain accurate CRM reporting and contribute market insights on trends sales cycles and opportunities.
Deliver consistent pipeline growth and meet or exceed revenue and activity targets.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Sports Management Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience: 35 years of business development sales or partnership experience ideally within golf sports technology or premium B2B sectors.
Proven success in territory management partner development and quota achievement.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Self-starter with a hunter mentality capable of working independently while aligning to corporate strategy.
Passion for golf and familiarity with the golf industry preferred.
Success Metrics
Growth of indirect dealer network and green-grass partnerships within assigned region.
Achievement of regional pipeline and revenue goals.
Increased GOLFZON presence through events and partnerships.
Strength of partner relationships and satisfaction.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $80000$90000
On-Target Earnings (OTE): Approximately $110000$130000 (base commission)
Remote position based anywhere in the Western United States (Arizona preferred).
Requires regular travel for client meetings dealer visits and industry events (approximately 3040%).
