Job Type: Contract 13-Week Assignment
Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Compensation: $52 $54 per hour

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Dietitianfor an exciting job in New York NY.

Responsibilities:

Conduct nutritional screenings assessments and follow-up evaluations
Obtain and analyze dietary histories habits and preferences from patients and/or their families
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop and implement therapeutic diet plans
Monitor fooddrug interactions and document findings in patient records
Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education
Adjust menus and meal plans according to patient condition and treatment goals
Interpret laboratory physical and social data relevant to nutritional status

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelors degree in Dietetics Foods and Nutrition or related field (Required)
Masters degree in Nutrition or related field (Preferred)

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of related clinical experience (Required)
2 years of clinical experience (Preferred)

Licensure & Certifications:

Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Required)
New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist (Required for post-acute settings)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Preferred)
