Job Summary
Cherokee Casino Ramona is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Associate. As a Facilities Maintenance Associate youll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and repair of our buildings. This includes both interior and exterior maintenance such as painting power washing and landscaping. Youll also provide essential support to skilled trades like carpentry electrical and plumbing. This position is crucial for ensuring our facilities remain safe functional and well-maintained. You must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment handling objects up to 50 lbs. and adhering to all safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment. Youll work as part of a team and may be asked to assist with special projects such as building renovations.

Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs for facility buildings including painting interiors exteriors and parking lot striping.
- Assist with a wide range of trades including carpentry mechanical electrical and plumbing.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Maintain the propertys appearance by performing landscaping duties like mowing and weeding.
- Perform power washing for parking lots and assist with water softener maintenance.
- Provide support during facility renovations.
- Assist with environmental monitoring and safety procedures.
- Escort vendors as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
- At least two years of direct experience in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
- Proficiency in using and caring for various tools including corded and cordless power tools.
- Experience operating one and two-person man lifts and scissor lifts.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation.
- Understanding of electrical Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a license from the appropriate gaming authority is required.
