Job Summary

Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydneys North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Positive Education to lead Ravenswoods well-established Positive Education and Visible Wellbeing programs. This role will work closely with the Principal and Leadership Team to ensure the ongoing integration of Positive Psychology principles across the school aligned with our strategic objectives and Guiding Principles.

Our innovative evidence-based programs and practices are integrated across key learning areas in both Junior and Senior School to equip our students with the skills strengths and resilience to thrive. This role will:

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Ravenswood Model of Positive Education and Visible Wellbeing.
Collaborate with staff across Prep to Year 12 to embed wellbeing practices into curriculum programs and school culture.
Support and coach the Positive Education Teaching Faculty and Visible Wellbeing Team.
Deliver professional development and wellbeing initiatives for students and staff.
Maintain Ravenswoods reputation as a global leader in Positive Education.
Carry a teaching load in the successful applicants Key Learning Area (KLA).

To secure this role the successful applicant will have:

Demonstrated expertise in Positive Psychology and Positive Education.
Experience designing and delivering wellbeing programs and curriculum.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
A commitment to ongoing research and professional learning in wellbeing education.
Teaching qualifications and experience in a relevant KLA.
Alignment with the AITSL Professional Standards for Principals and Lead Teachers.
