Position Overview
This position is for a Web Developer (.NET/C#) for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management- WMPT PAG at Morgan Stanleys Alpharetta location. It provides technology solutions for Financial Advisors. The application Suite includes Single Advisory Platform Trading Portfolio Maintenance Unified Fixed Income and a comprehensive set of Business Components that enable Wealth Management Advisory solutions for Financial Advisory teams..
The charter of this team is to develop FA facing platforms and applications. Working as a member of this team the candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting applications frontend/services. This is a hands-on role and is responsible for analyzing user specifications and requirements and providing assistance in coding testing and debugging applications.

• Take ownership of small/medium applications or application components and ensure delivery of the same through his/her team.
• Understands business needs and priorities and provides thought leadership on potential solutions and the opportunities for technology to create positive impact on the business.
• Utilize your analytical and problem solving skills coupled with strong communication anticipates issues and deals with them proactively.
• Be team oriented highly collaborative works effectively to build strong long term partnerships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across a variety of business and IT functions.
• Self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work with under supervision.
• Demonstrates a passion for technology innovation balanced with a pragmatic approach to developing and deploying solutions that best benefit the business.
• Nimble adaptable able to express ideas in meetings & design discussions comfortable with ambiguity; course correct when circumstances change.

What You will bring to the role:

• 5 years of professional experience technologies with an emphasis on C# Restful APIs
• 3 years of experience creating/consuming web services and data
• 1 years experience of working with geographically dispersed teams that fall across different time zones
• 2 years of experience in Web/UI technologies - Angular TypeScript jQuery CSS HTML

Good to have skills

• Working experience with Agile methodologies would be useful
• Prior work on in the banking/brokerage industry a plus
• Prior work experience with multi-threaded/ performance intensive applications
• Knowledge core docker or container-based applications
• Prior work experience with cloud-based applications

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120000 to $170000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
