Job Summary
Reading Mentor CoordinatorRutland Intermediate School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coordinator to promote literacy through meaningful partnerships with our community. The coordinator will oversee and manage a school-based reading mentoring program designed to strengthen students reading skills and foster a love of Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage the Reading Mentoring Program at Rutland Intermediate SchoolRecruit train and support community volunteers to serve as reading mentorsCollaborate with school staff and community partners to align program goals with student literacy needsCommunicate regularly with mentors teachers and :Experience in education literacy programming or community coordination preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with school staff families and community membersPassion for promoting literacy and student successPosition Details:Grant-funded Part-time position up to 10 hours per week for the duration of the school yearSchedule is flexible within the school day depending on program needsApply directly on Schoolspring or by sending a cover letter resume transcripts and 3 current letters of reference to:Christy Coloutti PrincipalRutland Intermediate School65 Library VT 05701
