ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. General:

    • Responsible for efficient overall operation of the count room and staff.

    • Assure that count room procedures are followed in compliance with gaming regulations.

    • Completion of financial reports paper work and security of information within.

    • Assure compliance of internal controls and SOPs for all accounting and cash handling.

    • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment.

    • Delegate duties and assign responsibilities as needed.

    • Development of staff interviews hires and evaluates for above departments.

    • Review count room activities with the Cage/Count Manager

    • Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations including late nights weekends and holidays; shifts may change.
    • Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

  1. Operating Principles:Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to: Clean Keep all areas clean and pristine; Safe Follow all safety policies and procedures; Friendly Use customer courtesy skills of Family Style Service to provide superior guest service; Fun Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.

  2. Tools and Technology: Use of computer station Microsoft office software casino tracking programs (ABS IVS CMS Datastream Kronos Stratton Warren Blackline) 10-key calculator header card creator cash box docking station telephone voicemail fax machine PBX system and photocopier.

  3. Licensure: Must be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 Slot/Cardroom/Pari-Mutuel Individual Combo Slot be at least 21 years of age. Three (3) years of tax returns required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience: Two to Five years experience in casino finance or banking with a 4-year degree in related field or

    equivalent work experience.

  2. Knowledge: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology. Knowledge of arithmetic algebra geometry calculus statistics and their applications. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words rules of composition and grammar. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.

  3. Skills: Giving full attention to what other people are saying taking time to understand the points being made asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Using mathematics to solve problems. Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems. Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

  2. Work Environment: An office environment. A casino environment exposed to bright flashing lights noise smoke and varied temperatures. Use of elevator and stairs.
