As the Sr. Interconnects Project Manager you will lead and plan the execution of multiple measurement and regulation projects to fulfil Interconnection Agreements across the gas transportation system. You will be responsible for managing project scope cost and schedule through effective risk management and will be expected to safely deliver high-quality facilities installations. You will also be responsible for managing internal and external relationships from initial assignment of projects through to final cost reconciliation with third-party customers..

Heres what you will do:

• Develop cost estimates spend profiles project schedules and project proposals for budgeted unbudgeted and unallocated projects for various stakeholders within Enbridge.

• Ensure project gating deliverables are completed throughout the lifecycle of the project.

• Track project performance update project spend profile facilitate change order process and approve project invoices.

• Analyze and estimate schedule and budgetary risks to the project.

• Ensure Supply Chain support for projects through preparation and award of contracts and purchase orders.

• Develop process and evaluate provider request for proposals negotiate contract terms and write work order requests.

• Initiate material requisitions evaluate material quotes assist in negotiating request terms approve purchase orders and monitor change requests.

• Facilitate outage meetings commissioning meetings pre-construction meetings progress update meetings deliverable reviews and lessons-learned meetings.

• Track service performance provide performance feedback and evaluate change requests.

• Work closely with the Construction Coordinator and other stakeholders to ensure daily and weekly plans are developed communicated and followed.

• Create outage plan coordinate pre-construction meetings and establish contractor interaction and scheduling plan.

• Review inspector reports evaluate construction progress through cost and schedule tracking tools and implement corrective actions for construction activities.

• Work to continuously improve the interconnect program each year by applying lessons-learned to future projects and exploring feasibility of using new technologies or techniques.

• Identify and recommend enhancements to engineering standards and specifications through the TSDR process.

• Promote consistency across the company with regards to practices and processes.

Who you are:

You have:

• University degree or related construction or operational training and/or experience 7 or more years of progressively detailed design and/or project management and/or field engineering/management experience depending on technical education accreditations and competency development.

• Demonstrated technical competence in at least one of the engineering disciplines with knowledge of others. Must have exposure to Engineering Construction and Field operations.

• Excellent oral and written communications skills.

• Problem solving decision-making organization planning and leadership skills.

• General understanding of pipeline and terminal operations.

• Collaborative team- and customer-oriented work style.

• Valid drivers license.

You are:

• Familiar with industry codes regulations standards and specifications.

• Motivated self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced team environment.

You can:

• Predict obstacles challenges and risks to proactively determine mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to problems.

Preferred Assets:

• Root cause analysis process and methodologies (SCAT) preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Office environment with some field work required.

• Scheduled travel to operating facilities construction sites and manufacturers facilities (up to 25%).

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
