- Organizes and maintains clean/safe Central Supply and oxygen storage areas.
- Assures appropriate and accurate delivery of supplies to the nursing units on a daily basis.
- Orders necessary supplies to maintain facility par levels working with manager to ensure budget is maintained.
- Maintains fleet of facility DME ensuring routine inspection maintenance and cleaning.
- Maintains accurate inventory of supplies ensuring first in-first out inventory process is followed.
- Assists with preparation of monthly supply bills.
Qualifications :
- 1-2 years experience in central supply/inventory/order management preferred.
- Must have a high school diploma and ability to use Microsoft Word/Excel/basic computer functions.
- Must have general knowledge of medical terminology be able to read write speak and understand the English language.
- Must be able to push pull move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be able to push pull move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 100 feet.
