In this role you will be part of our (Raw) Materials Procurement & supply chain department responsible for procuring and calling off materials and steel for our factories and assembly sites.
Qualifications :
QSHE & Compliance
- Responsible for motivating and ensuring everyone works according to the QSHE standards to ensure that all work is done in a safe efficient and qualitative way.
- Complies with the goals of Lean and continuous improvements within the company.
- Responsible for ensuring that all executed activities and processes follow QSHE standards policies instructions and local legislation.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Place orders with the main suppliers to make sure the goods needed for assembly are on time in the plant
- Follow up with suppliers to track and confirm delivery schedules
- Order and manage all consumables needed to run the plant efficiently
- Negotiate with suppliers on an ad hoc base for daily deals and a structural base for long term needs
- Oversee the steel supply chain from service centers to the factory
- Analyze open purchase order book and align with factory needs
- Connect with suppliers to create visibility in material availability
Qualifications
- Masters degree in civil or commercial engineering preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in purchasing roles preferably linked to steel processing
- Hands on experience in major ERP like SAP Oracle preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate across all organizational levels
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
