Position Purpose:
Join our team as a Electrical Planner and drive operational excellence! Youll optimize maintenance activities minimize equipment downtime and ensure peak asset reliability.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review work requests and determine job scope.
- Define required labor skills materials and tools.
- Develop detailed job steps drawings and safety risks/permits.
- Identify parts and ensure they are kitted and available.
- Estimate job durations and costs.
- Gather vendor quote and generate purchase requisitions as needed.
- Maintain equipment job plans and libraries.
- Prepare permits for contractors and large project work.
- Coordinate with operations for equipment availability and permits.
- Coordinate work with engineering group maintenance and operations while developing job scope.
- Strategic planning and resource coordination.
- Work order management and system optimization.
- Safety compliance and permit verification.
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication.
- Continuous improvement and standardization.
Qualifications :
Education/Experience/Background:
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Minimum of 3 years in electrical maintenance with proven planning and scheduling experience for normal maintenance and shutdown activities.
- Experience with CMMS system MOC process and work in progress audits.
- Experience working within a specialty chemical manufacturing site or power generation facility.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated maintenance operations knowledge with experience in environmental safety and health compliance.
- Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude; proficiency in electrical planning and scheduling; knowledge of shutdown operations understanding of regulatory requirements and work audits.
- Computer proficiency Microsoft Office / Google Suite; CMMS system experience including data entry procurement parts specification retrieval history and reliability analysis.
