About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Specialist to join our Italian team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations supporting both local and regional reporting. The ideal candidate has solid accounting experience excellent analytical skills and a hands-on approach to managing daily finance activities in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and review journal entries accruals and adjustments.
- Support monthly quarterly and annual financial closings.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Coordinate with external accountants auditors and tax advisors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Italian statutory requirements and company accounting policies.
- Monitor and manage cash flow bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the EMEA finance team.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support management in Italian and English
Key Responsibilities
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably in an international company.
- Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and familiarity with IFRS principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. NetSuite SAP or similar) and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Italian and proficient in English (both written and verbal).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
