Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing electrical systems and components to meet project specifications and regulatory standards. This role requires a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency with design software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical load calculations and system sizing for various Electrical components and equipment.
- Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution Cable sizing Load Preparation Earthing Calculation Switchgear Selection.
- Create detailed electrical schematics wiring diagrams and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical Dailux evo).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical civil instrumentation) to ensure integrated project designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards electrical codes (e.g. NEC IEC IS) and safety regulations.
- Review and validate electrical designs for functionality safety and reliability.
- Provide technical support during installation commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and cost estimates for electrical components.
- Keep updated with new technologies electrical design trends and best practices.
- Assist in creating project documentation including specifications test procedures and reports.
