Key Responsibilities:
- Design build and maintain reusable cloud platform components and paved-road infrastructure on AWS and Azure using Terraform and automation tools.
- Develop and manage CI/CD platform capabilities (Jenkins GitHub Actions) to enable secure repeatable and self-service deployments for application teams.
- Operate and enhance Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS) providing standardized deployment networking and scaling patterns for microservices.
- Build and maintain platform-level observability (monitoring logging alerting) using CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana and ELK.
- Enable secure multi-account and multi-environment architectures using IAM PrivateLink and cloud-native security best practices.
- Automate platform operations configuration management and lifecycle management using Terraform Ansible and scripting (Python/Shell).
- Partner with application security and architecture teams to onboard services onto the platform and improve developer experience.
- Drive platform reliability availability and cost optimization through proactive improvements and governance.
- Document platform standards patterns and operational runbooks to support self-service adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 6 years of experience in DevOps Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS EC2 VPC IAM S3 RDS CloudWatch) and working knowledge of Azure.
- Experience building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized workloads.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD platform tooling (Jenkins GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform; CloudFormation is a plus).
- Experience with monitoring logging and observability platforms (Prometheus Grafana ELK).
- Scripting experience in Python and/or Shell.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience supporting multiple development teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with internal developer platforms paved-road templates or self-service tooling.
- Knowledge of service mesh container security and policy enforcement (Istio OPA Gatekeeper).
- Cloud or DevOps certifications (AWS Azure DevOps Engineer).
