About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Specialist within our team you will play an integral role in maintaining and building upon the teams reputation with an unwavering commitment to meticulous production addition to maintaining existing suite of test inventory you will develop test plans create test case scenarios execute test programs and collaborate with the development team members in implementing and improving quality standards and processes.
What Youll Be Doing
Accountable for quality of code promoted to production
Ensure all systems and applications are tested to meet functional and non-functional requirements
Create and execute all necessary test cases to verify all requirements
Validates accuracy and integrity of test results and report on testing progress
Develops test plans and provide testing estimates
Perform functional testing and regression testing using manual and automated procedures
Conduct performance testing and analyze results
Document defects with necessary details into JIRA
Work collaboratively with the development team to find the root cause of any reported issue
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Create and maintain Selenium based automation scripts
Analyze document and validate project requirements to achieve quality end user experience
Coordinate with business and technical groups to discuss issues and potential risks
About You
Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
7 years experience in software testing (manual and automated)
2 years experience in Agile software testing
Web Service Testing (REST & SOAP)
Proven experience in software testing tools (i.e. Quality Center Selenium Jira)
Proven experience in creating Automation scripts using TEST IM/ SELENIUM / READYAPI / POSTMAN / LOADUI / JMETER
Sound knowledge of QA best practices
Good communicator
