About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with a focus on Business Process Management (BPM) to join our team on a contract basis in Irving TX. This is an on-site position requiring the candidate to be present in the office from day one. You will be instrumental in designing developing and implementing robust BPM solutions ensuring seamless integration with existing enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Technical Expertise
- BPM Implementation: Proven experience in implementing and deploying BPM solutions using JBPM and/or Camunda.
- Modeling Standards: Strong understanding and practical application of BPMN 2.0 DMN and CMMN standards along with solid workflow modeling principles.
- Core Development: Proficiency in Java and related technologies; Spring Boot familiarity is a significant asset.
- Integration: Extensive experience integrating JBPM/Camunda tools with enterprise systems using various technologies including APIs and messaging frameworks.
- Database Knowledge: Knowledge of database technologies (e.g. Cassandra PostgreSQL Oracle) and data modeling best practices.
- DevOps/Agile (Plus): Familiarity with DevOps tools CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git) is a plus. Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
Education & Soft Skills
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related technical field.
- Process Optimization: Ability to analyze document and optimize complex business processes with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills for working effectively within a team and with stakeholders.
