Role Summary
As the Customer Support Specialist for the Italian market you will be the primary point of contact for device users including healthcare professionals (such as doctors and nurses) and patients. Your main objective is to deliver empathetic professional and accurate support across multiple channels (phone email and chat).
Key Responsibilities
- Frontline Troubleshooting: Actively listen to customer descriptions of technical issues related to medical device hardware software or usage and provide effective solutions.
- Case Management: Log and manage all customer interactions and technical details with meticulous accuracy in the internal CRM system.
- Compliance: Follow strict quality protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) required in the medical device sector to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Continuous Learning: Participate fully in training sessions to maintain deep product knowledge and keep pace with device updates.
Required Profile
We are looking for candidates who meet the following essential criteria:
- Italian Fluency: Native or near-native proficiency in Italian (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- English Proficiency: Must have a strong command of English minimum B2 level for internal communications training and documentation.
- Location Commitment: Must be willing to relocate to or already live in Porto Portugal and work on-site.
- Schedule Flexibility: Full willingness to work within a 24/7 rotational shift pattern.
Experience Note: Previous experience in customer service call centers or technical support is beneficial but is not strictly required. Comprehensive training will be provided to all new hires.
Work Schedule and Hours
The project operates around the clock requiring a commitment to a rotational schedule:
- Operation Days: Shifts cover Monday through Sunday (24/7).
- Weekly Days Off: You will receive two rotational days off each week.
- Night Shift: The schedule includes occasional coverage for the Night Shift (22:00 to 07:00). Due to the small size of the night team all agents must be fully aware of and comfortable with this required rotational element.
