Job Description

As a member of the Formulation Development team this role will support the drug development programs through dissolution testing and dissolution method development. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops troubleshoots and conducts dissolution experiments in support of drug product process development
  • Helps to execute and interpret basic laboratory experiments to meet established project timelines under supervision
  • Helps with experimental troubleshooting and solving typical problems within standard procedures and practices
  • Performs dissolution stability testing on drug products
  • Maintains accurate records of experiments and results in an electronic laboratory notebook and authors reports as assigned
  • Maintains general lab equipment including HPLCs and dissolution systems
  • Collates data systematically and compiles results for discussion with manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrates ability to provide high quality data collected in a compliant fashion in support of regulatory submissions and/or manufacturing
  • Demonstration of hands on experience in a laboratory setting (academic or industry)
  • Demonstrates effective self-sufficient communication skills especially in peer/team discussions
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment manage priorities and maintain timelines for multiple projects
  • The ability to work successfully in both a team/matrix environment
  • Attention to detail good verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree in Analytical Chemistry Pharmaceutical Chemistry Biochemistry or other relevant discipline and 0-2 years relevant analytical experience
  • Excellent experimental documentation is required

Contract Length: 12 month with the chance to extend

Pay Range

$37/hr. - $43/hr.

Monday-Friday
