Job Summary

Manager Marketing and Communications (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 533539) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelors degree preferably in communications or a business-related subject with around 5 years work experience at least 3 years of which should be in marketing or corporate communication copyrighting news reporting with social media experience in the commercial and business setting. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and be able to proofread and edit English and Chinese articles. They should also have strong customer service and project management skills; good organisational interpersonal and communication skills; branding and communication skills; Applicants should be able to work independently with entrepreneurial spirit and under pressure and multi-task under tight deadlines. They should have a positive attitude a detail-oriented mindset with basic knowledge of graphic design and a high level of computer literacy and in-depth understanding of the social media channels in Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland. They should also be a good team player with prior experience in supervising or leading a team.
The appointee will support the Facultys development in the Executive Education portfolio including programme development marketing and execution. A good knowledge of executive education programmes in the Asian market especially an in-depth understanding of the market in China and a sound network with the business sector would be a definite advantage. He/She will work at the Facultys Cyberport campus. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
