JOB DESCRIPTION:
The scope of our mission is to reinforce a digital governance team as a right-hand Project Executive to coordinate structure and support the execution of IT project portfolios ensuring alignment transparency and operational continuity within a large public administration.
The Key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:
Support projects by facilitating communication between stakeholders and progress towards objectives
- Participate actively in various PMO activities
- Prepare and present reports to the validation committee
- Manage interdependencies between projects
- Promote best practices in project management and ensure compliance
- Train and coach users on methodology and tools
- Help prioritize projects and provide strategic support
- Communicate appropriately at different levels of the organization
- Support management in team development and internal process improvements
Support projects with rational and data-driven assessments regarding costs quality and timelines
- Evaluate and validate proposals with ICT experts
- Monitor the project portfolio
Support projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution ensuring accuracy and meeting expectations
- Develop reporting and related tools for the current system
- Develop new document templates
- Provide operational support to users
The experience we are actively looking for:
- Proven experience in project portfolio or PMO management in IT environments
- Solid understanding of project governance interdependencies and prioritization
- Experience with Planisware or equivalent project portfolio management tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities
- Experience in training or coaching teams in project management methodology
- Prior experience within a public sector or large organization (>5000 people) is an asset
- Entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start)
- Immediate availability is preferred
- Presence in Belgium is preferred with valid Single permit for non-EU citizens
