Shift: 12-hr Nights 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Job Type: Permanent
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires an RN who can provide high-quality care for critically ill patients perform frequent assessments and manage treatments autonomously. You will collaborate with a supportive team to ensure excellent patient care and positive outcomes in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation.
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Utilize clinical judgment to manage patient care safely and effectively.
- Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations.
- Educate patients and their families on medications procedures and treatments providing support throughout their stay.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent ICU RN experience in acute care required.
- Licensure: Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license. Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation.
- Education: Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree; BSN preferred.
- Certifications:
- NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of employment start.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor within 30 days of start.
- ACLS Provider (American Heart Association) within 6 months of start date.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PALS Instructor within 6 months of start date.
