Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Provide specialized nursing care for post-operative spine surgery patients (laminectomies spinal fusions discectomies) on a 26-bed orthopedic spine unit
- Manage comprehensive patient care including pain management physical therapy and mobility support
- Care for telemetry-capable patients; strong cardiac experience required
- Patient ratio up to 1:6 typically 1:5
- Care for ER overflow patients requiring Observation and Med/Surg Telemetry
- Adhere to Prisma Healths floating policy (may float to other qualified units or campuses as needed)
- Must work 2 of the 3 main holidays
- No requested time off (RTO) permitted during the week between Christmas and New Year
