Epic Bridges Integration Specialist
While this position is remote candidates are expected to travel 50% (2 weeks/month) to Coral Springs FL
Job Summary:
- Serve as the Epic Bridges Integration Specialist responsible for designing developing and maintaining interfaces between EPIC and external systems.
- Ensure seamless data exchange across clinical and financial healthcare platforms.
- Utilize expert-level knowledge of HL7 messaging standards (ADT ORM ORU) and healthcare data integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues including interface monitoring incident resolution and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams clinical stakeholders and third-party vendors to support live connections and interface stability.
- Apply a strong understanding of networking protocols (VPN SFTP TCP/IP HTTP) and HL7 data structures.
- Ensure all integration activities adhere to HIPAA compliance and data security standards.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders providing proactive support in a healthcare IT environment.
- Travel up to 50% (2 weeks/month) to Coral Springs FL as required by the position.
- Contribute both strategically and technically to the overall stability and performance of the organizations integration environment.
