Job Summary

Job Title: IT Support / System Consultant Recording Studio
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Location: Washington DC

  1. Experience and Education:
    1. 5 years of direct customer support experience.
  1. Customer Support and Communication:
    1. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required to prepare and deliver technical briefings and reports to SAA staff and/or hardware and software vendors.
    2. Ability to effectively teach technical concepts to customers ensuring proper understanding and use of studio technology.
  1. Technical Expertise in Multi-Platform Environments:
    1. Experience supporting both Windows and Apple environments along with associated back-up solutions.
    2. Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting hardware and software across both platforms specifically for audio and recording studio setups.
  1. Mobile Device Support and Peripheral Support:
    1. Experience in supporting iOS and Android devices including integration with studio equipment.
    2. Familiarity with audio interfaces recording equipment and peripherals used in professional recording studios.
  1. Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
    1. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently particularly those related to audio systems and recording setups.
    2. Knowledge of best practices for maintaining and optimizing studio hardware and software
  1. Continuous Learning and Adaptability:
    1. Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in studio software hardware and recording techniques.
    2. Flexibility to adapt to evolving technical environments and user needs in the recording studio.
