Private Client Tax Senior
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Senior to join our clients team providing expert tax advice to high net worth individuals (HNWI) and their families. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of personal tax laws and regulations with the ability to analyse complex tax scenarios and provide solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a successful growing team and contribute to the growth of their private client tax practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert tax advice to HNWI and their families on personal tax matters including income tax capital gains tax inheritance tax and VAT
- Analyse complex tax scenarios and develop innovative solutions to minimize tax liabilities
- Prepare and review tax returns including self-assessment returns trust returns and partnership returns
- Conduct tax planning and advisory work including tax-efficient investment strategies and wealth preservation planning
- Collaborate with other tax professionals to ensure consistency and quality of tax advice
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their tax needs and providing tailored advice
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in private client tax preferably in a senior role
- Strong understanding of personal tax laws and regulations including income tax capital gains tax inheritance tax and VAT
- Ability to analyze complex tax scenarios and develop innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with HNWI and their families
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in tax planning software and systems
- Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) or equivalent qualification
- HNWI experience and knowledge of wealth management and family office structures
