About the Role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Assistant to support their business development efforts. This role is essential in helping expand their client base especially within the golf course industry. As a key support to the sales team youll be responsible for prospect research outreach management and CRM data accuracy. Its a great opportunity for an independent contractor to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven company.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify golf courses across the U.S. focusing on key contacts such as superintendents and facility managers
Build and maintain a structured outreach list in the CRM system
Send pre-written email templates to prospects and follow up consistently
Make outbound calls when required ensuring professional and clear communication
Achieve daily outreach goals of 150200 activities (emails and/or calls)
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure lead quality conversion tracking and accurate reporting
Continuously improve outreach processes and suggest optimizations based on results
Qualifications:
Required:
Excellent written and spoken English with a neutral or easily understood accent
Prior experience in sales support lead generation or outbound customer communication
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently and consistently meet daily activity targets
Comfortable working independently in a remote self-directed environment
Preferred:
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot Zoho Salesforce)
Experience with B2B outreach especially in service-based industries
Background or familiarity with the golf or landscaping industries
