Were looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Finance Administrator to join our friendly finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone returning to work or starting a career in finance who wants to gain hands-on experience in all areas of the department.
- Contact customers by phone email and letter regarding payments.
- Keep accurate records of all communications and account actions.
- Process monthly statements and respond to customer queries.
- Handle credit card payments and enter details into the system.
- Manage finance and credit control email inboxes.
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure payments and credit notes are correctly posted.
- Liaise with the sales team to resolve queries and disputes.
- Monitor and manage overdue accounts escalating where needed.
- Set up new customer accounts and carry out credit checks.
- Place accounts on hold where invoices are overdue by 90 days.
- Support the finance team with other ad hoc duties.
Qualifications :
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Patient polite and professional manner.
- Determined and able to follow through on tasks.
- Good team player but also able to work independently.
- Keen to learn and develop within a finance role.
