Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Sheffield.
As a vital part of our hospitality organisation you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences through high-quality food and beverage service.
- Provide a warm and personalised welcome to all guests creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
- Lead develop and support a team of service specialists in daily hotel operations.
- Maintain high standards of service contributing to the attainment of the departments qualitative and quantitative targets.
- Assist the F&B Manager to implement hotel strategy and reach KPIs.
- Develop close relationships with guests to encourage loyalty and enhance guest satisfaction
- Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages ensuring presentation and quality meet our exacting standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to understand menu items and communicate special dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns
- Contribute to the overall success of the team by supporting colleagues and adapting to operational demands.
Qualifications :
- Passion for hospitality and food and beverage service
- Previous experience in a similar food and beverage role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and presentation
- Flexible and adaptable willing to meet the demands of a dynamic hospitality environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanour
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry moderate loads
- Basic numeracy skills for handling financial transactions
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organisation
