About the opportunity

Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as a Registered Nurse! Were looking for experienced professionals to bring their skills to our General Surgery Ward on a casual basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered.

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art 339-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.

With 22 operating theatres Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including but not limited to 24/7 Emergency Care Medical Services Orthopaedics Bariatrics Neurosurgery Plastic Surgery ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) General Surgery Obstetrics Cardiac Care and Oncology.

As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide safe evidence-based nursing care
  • Supervise and guide nursing team members
  • Educate and support patients in recovery rehabilitation and end-of-life care
  • Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care
  • Serve as a role model for safe practices

Essential Criteria:

  • Authority to Work in Australia
  • Minimum 12 months experience as an RN in an acute setting
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive customer-focused approach

If you are successful you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Healthscope - Queensland - Nurses Enterprise Agreement2021 - 2025 (salaries range between $41.49 and $52.97 per hour superannuation)
