Psychologist (General Registration) Permanent Part-Time (0.6 FTE) or Contractor South-East Melbourne
Bridging Psychology is a growing psychology practice supporting children adolescents and adults across South-East Melbourne including Lynbrook Croydon and Malvern.
We are seeking a generally registered psychologist to join us in a part-time capacity (0.6 FTE) with flexibility to engage either as a permanent part-time employee or independent contractor depending on experience and mutual fit.
This role will suit a psychologist who values quality clinical work thoughtful practice and working in a service that is continuing to build with referrals and caseload increasing progressively over time.
About the role
Permanent part-time role (0.6 FTE approximately 3 days per week) or contractor arrangement.
Psychological assessment and therapy across the lifespan.
Assessment work includes cognitive and developmental assessments (e.g. WISC-V WAIS-IV/WAIS-V adaptive behaviour assessments).
Mix of Medicare-rebatable and privately billed psychological work.
Some clients may be NDIS participants; however the role is focused on psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention not behaviour support.
Caseload will build gradually as the practice continues to grow.
About you
You are a psychologist who:
Holds General Registration with AHPRA.
Is eligible for a Medicare provider number.
Has experience working with children adolescents and adults.
Is competent and confident in psychological assessment.
Works in a warm professional and evidence-based way.
Is comfortable working with a level of autonomy while engaging with clinical leadership and governance.
Is open to working in a growing practice environment.
Experience using Halaxy or similar practice management systems is desirable but not essential.
