In this role youll:
Work with the Senior Project Manager and the Project Director to support the development and project management of program activities across the Future Fleet Program. This will include supporting the development and implementation of strategic and operational project initiatives to drive change improvement and uplift quality.
Working with a select group of Subject Matter Experts you will focus on a number of key areas including Technical Governance Risk Commercial Risk and Analysis as well as ad-hoc reporting and communication for different internal and external audiences. Utilise your strong internal and external stakeholder management skills to build relationships with your delivery partners ensuring the smooth delivery for the project team.
You will champion and support implementation of Branch and Division-wide business improvement initiatives in liaison with project teams including project data quality uplift to enable best practice pipeline and portfolio management and reporting. The NSW Government through the Future Fleet Program is committed to revitalising domestic rail manufacturing and is looking for a Project Manager to be part of an exciting future for the NSW and Australian rail manufacturing industry.
About you:
You will have a background in finance project management business improvement performance analysis stakeholder and/or change management gained within a large organisation and complex project environment. You will be able to demonstrate your strong governance project and contract performance change and risk management skills gained in a challenging high-profile role.
Your experience will include extensive project management experience gained on very large complex and ever evolving projects. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in communicating complex concepts to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders A background in Rail and/or rollingstock projects would be advantageous though not essential. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and equivalent demonstrated experience in a large fast changing business.
