Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP)
Location: Cape Coral FL
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 12x3 Days
Pay Rate: $2278 Weekly Gross
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care in a Labor Delivery Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. The RN will support mothers and newborns throughout labor delivery and the immediate postpartum period ensuring safe and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum intrapartum and postpartum patients.
Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs labor progress and overall condition.
Assist with deliveries including supporting physicians and midwives.
Provide patient and family education regarding labor delivery and postpartum care.
Document patient care accurately using the EMR system.
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
Adhere to safety infection control and hospital policies.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in LDRP or maternity nursing.
Experience using EPIC EMR system.
Certifications:
AHA BLS
ACLS
NRP
