The Registered Nurse in the ICU provides skilled nursing care to critically ill patients in a 22-bed unit. Responsibilities include patient assessment medication administration treatment planning and collaboration with the healthcare team. The role requires a minimum of two years of ICU experience and the ability to work 12-hour day shifts including weekends if needed.

Location:Decatur Illinois United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to ICU patients.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage PICC lines and initiate IVs.
- Document patient care in Cerner.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Provide skilled nursing care to ICU patients.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
- ACLS BLS and NIH certifications.

- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Special Considerations:

- Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without pay.
