Job Summary
Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Kitchen Utility Aide to join our team! Full-time position available with complete benefits package including Medical Dental Vision Paid Time Off 403B with match and more. Hours are day shift but may require some rotating weekends.
- Washes all wares including but not limited to: pots pans flatware and glasses both by hand and using commercial dishwashers.
- Correctly places and stores dishes and utensils in assigned storage areas.
- Stocks serving stations cabinets refrigerators server and kitchen with necessary dishes and utensils.
- Responsible for taking the trash to appropriate receptacles for disposal.
- Clean and sanitize equipment based on cleaning and routine maintenance schedules and use only approved chemicals and tools.
- Maintain and rotate products to ensure dates have not expired and products are used timely.
- Perform routine food service tasks under direct supervision of Managers.
- High School Diploma
- Past experience in heavy cleaning of Kitchen Equipment is preferred
- Ability to follow directions read SDS Sheets and Understand PPE Equipment
