About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Governance Officer you will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Governance service including the formal Council meeting process and direct Councillor support. You will also be responsible for coordinating Citizenship Ceremonies that are held throughout the year with out of business hours attendance required.
This role is temporary parental leave cover full-time opportunity with a Monthly ADO. Remuneration begins at $76.4K to $87.1K (Band 5) plus superannuation.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp awareness of deadlines and accountability and be an excellent communicatorconfident in both written and verbal formats. They should thrive in a team environment while also being self-driven and professional. Attention to detail is key as is the ability to take initiative and maintain integrity in all aspects of their work. Were also seeking someone who can effectively liaise with counterparts across organisations to network and collaboratively solve problems.
