About The Role
Reporting to the Construction Manager the primary responsibility of the Digital Supervisor Support position is to remotely support the Field Supervisors and management of contractors working on the NBN Field Module project for QLD NSW and TAS.
This is an Office based position based from our Cremorne VIC office alongside our project team on a Permanent Full-Time basis with flexible working arrangements.
What youll be doing:
- Engage with and brief subcontractors on their scope of works for construction escalating any issues to the Area Supervisor/Superintendent as needed.
- Liaise with the Client to obtain approval and Sequence Numbers for Construction Changes.
- Liaise with Site Engineers to ensure materials and equipment are readily available ahead of construction activities and escalate any critical stock deficiencies to the Area Supervisor/Superintendent in a timely manner.
- Comply with all warehousing processes and procedures to safeguard the accurate and timely assignment and management of stock issue and returns.
- Influence safety outcomes on all sites via the proactive education and monitoring of construction personnel
- Educate guide and coach technicians and Subcontractors to ensure the delivery of quality works compliant with contractual and industry standards
About You
To be successful in your application you will have Trade Qualification and experience working within a Supervisory position ideally in the Telecommunications space.
You will also possess the following competencies:
- Telecommunication (Telstra/NBN) knowledge
- Ability to read and understand Telstra and NBN plans also an advantage
- Civil Background or understanding
- Previous experience Supervising contractors
