Location: Atlanta GA 30329
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $1944 - $2088; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with Level IV/surgical NICU experience to provide exceptional care to critically ill neonates in a fast-paced NICU environment. This is a contract position with guaranteed hours and competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to neonates in a Level IV/surgical NICU.
- Monitor and manage critically ill infants including those requiring complex interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neonatologists respiratory therapists and other nursing staff.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Educate families regarding infant care medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU RN experience required.
- Level IV and/or Surgical NICU experience.
- PALS certification required
- NRP certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) every other week.
- Strong critical thinking communication and teamwork skills.
