Role Overview
The Service Technician in Cape Town will play a vital role in supporting the Field Services Manager by delivering high-quality technical service installations and customer support. This role requires a candidate who is proactive hands-on and committed to delivering excellence in service. The Compnay Manufactures and distribute Gas Combustion Boilers to the market.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site technical support and client engagement.
- Plan and execute new installations and projects.
- Prepare accurate quotes invoices site reports and administrative documentation.
- Monitor and analyse client sites remotely with Autoflame software compiling monthly reports.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards compliance regulations and company protocols.
- Assist in achieving departmental service targets and generating revenue.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical and engineering issues.
- Promote continuous improvement through quality control processes.
- Boiler experience service and repair.
Candidate Attributes- Solid understanding of Thermodynamics.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
- Independent efficient and able to manage time effectively.
- Professional appearance and strong sense of accountability.
- Deadline-focused hardworking and motivated to grow.
- Honest dependable and a strong cultural fit.
Candidate Requirements- : Mechanical Engineering / Mech Eng / BSc or BEng Mechanical Engineering.
- Valid drivers licence.
- Proficient in Word Excel and MS Teams.
- No experience required (experience in an industrial/engineering environment is an advantage).
- Must complete a short online assessment before CV review.
