Our client is seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician to join the Coega Port Elizabeth team on a contract basis
Assist with planning of preventative maintenance by giving relevant feedback to management
Ensure that all work carried out at the factory and on equipment is done in compliance with the OHS act and that it complies with the Food Safety policies
Continually monitor and maintain the condition of company assets including but not limited to machinery and equipment of the production facilities
Ensure all maintenance schedules that are to be done daily weekly monthly are carried out correctly and timeously
Report faults and findings daily that could lead to possible downtime so that repairs can be scheduled
Housekeeping of the Substations and Workshop to be kept up to standard
Requirements
Grade 12
Minimum N3 in Electrical Engineering
Trade Test preferred
Minimum 2 years experience preferably gained in the FMCG industry
Must be willing to work shifts
Valid drivers license and own transport essential
Candidate must reside in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
Required Skills:
