The Facilities & Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of our building and grounds to ensure a safe secure and efficient working role involves a mix of operational administrative and strategic tasks to support our restaurants day to day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Facility Maintenance:Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for all building systems including HVAC electrical and routine inspections repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Budget Management:Prepare and manage the facilities budget track expenses and look for cost-saving opportunities.
- Vendor Management:Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for services like cleaning pest control mechanical repair plumbing and contracts and service agreements.
- Safety and Compliance:Ensure the facility complies with all health safety and environmental and implement workplace safety initiatives and emergency preparedness plans.
- Staff Supervision:Supervise and train facilities staff including maintenance and cleaning teams.
- Operations:Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility run smoothly including managing essential services like waste disposal and reception.
- Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities expenses and inspections.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC electrical plumbing) and maintenance best practices.
- Strong understanding of health safety and environmental regulations.
- Excellent budget management and project management skills.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
