IOAs Friendship Line Department (FL) is seeking a temporary Full-Time Counselor. This is a temporary position for an employee out on leave and is expected to last until approximately February 1st. This position is remote but candidates must live in California. Schedule: Sunday through Thursday 1230-9pmTEMPORARY Friendship Line Counselor:
The FL Counselor receives inbound calls and makes outbound calls providing emotional support reassurance counseling crisis intervention abuse prevention well-being checks and information and referrals for older adults over the phone. FL Counselors also work closely with Supervisors Manager Program Coordinator and Director to ensure that data is collected appropriately and shifts are adequately covered.
