Role Summary

As Payroll Team Manager for Denmark you will oversee the delivery of payroll services for our significant client organizations ensuring compliance accuracy and an exceptional service experience. Your Responsibilities

  • Proven experience managing payroll in an outsourced or multi-client environment with understanding of SLAs and KPIs to track team performance.
  • Lead motivate and develop a team of payroll specialists ensuring accurate and compliant payroll services for multiple client organizations.
  • Monitor team performance provide regular feedback and conduct performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive inclusive collaborative team culture that emphasizes accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive process improvements and promote best practices including optimization and automation of workflows and tools.
  • Provide customer support at key moments managing escalations to ensure high service satisfaction.
  • Detect payroll discrepancies procedural gaps and potential fraud to maintain accuracy and complianceServe as the primary point of contact between the team and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of data integrity.

Education and Experience

  • 57 years of experience in payroll operations with at least 23 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience with payroll systems - SAP HR/Payroll or smiliar.
  • Professional working proficiency in Danish and English.
  • Experience managing Danish payroll with accurate salary processing and legal compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building trusted relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to to work accurately under deadlines while managing multiple customer needs.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
